Seit 1978 arbeite ich im professionellen fotografischen Bereich. Zunächst war ich als Reportagefotografin tätig und 20 Jahre Dozentin für die Bereiche Fotografie, Fotolabor und Fotoreisen. Seit 1990 bin ich freie künstlerische Fotografin mit rund 60 Ausstellungen und seit 2004 mit eigenem Atelier und Fotostudio in Lenningen bei Stuttgart.
Meine Faszination gilt dem Vorhandensein der Kunst in der Natur und was mittels Licht in der Fotografie entstehen kann. Ich greife so gut wie nie in das Vorhandene ein. Suche und warte aber auf den richtigen Moment. Ich halte Schönes mittels der Fotografie so fest, wie ich es sehe.
Das Sehen von Unscheinbarem, Kleinem, aber auch Großem, Magischem, Atmosphärischem… und es in einen bestimmten Kontext mit der Kamera zu stellen, ist mein Können und meine Leidenschaft.
Die Kunst liegt darin, diese Bilder zu sehen, einzufangen und anderen zu präsentieren. Und genau das gelingt mir mit meinem einzigartigen Stil und meiner besonderen Fähigkeit, den Geist eines Ortes in einem bestimmten Augenblick festzuhalten.
Since 1978 I have been working in professional photography .
Initially, I worked as a reportage photographer and for 20 years as a lecturer in the fields of photography, photo labs, and photography tours. Since 1990, I have been a freelance artistic photographer with over 60 exhibitions. Since 2004 I have my own atelier and photo studio in Lenningen near Stuttgart.
My fascination lies in the presence of art in nature and what can be created through light and photography. I almost never intervenes in what is there, searches and waits for the right moment to capture with the camera— exactly as I see it—whatever it is that fascinates me. With my eye, I see the existing art in a special way and skillfully captures it photographically with my camera.
My skill and passion lie in perceiving the inconspicuous and the small— as well as the grand, the magical, and the atmospheric— and placing them within a specific context through the lens of my camera.
The art lies in seeing these subjects, capturing them, and presenting them to others. This is precisely what I achieve with my unique style and my special ability to capture the spirit of a place at a specific moment in time.
